Eleven children from our church received First Holy Communion on 3rd May 2015. There were 8 priests for the Eucharistic celebration. Rev. Fr. Naveen Joseph Sequeira, the newly ordained priest was the main celebrant. Others concelebrated the mass. First Holy Communicants conducted beautiful and meaningful liturgy. Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jesudas gave first Holy Communion to the children. Four priests were given a chance to give First Holy Communion to the children of their relatives.

To keep the Parish Day celebration intact felicitation programme was held after the mass. Fr. Naveen Joseph, who served as deacon in our parish, Sr. Reshma Vinolia Rodrigues, Sr. Sylvia, Municipality President - Mrs. Eliza Menezes, Municipality nominated member - Mr. Alwyn Santhosh Menezes, Directors of 3 different co-operative society :- Mr. Ashwin Jossey Pereira, Mr. Cyprian Pinto, Mr. Melwyn D'Costa, Miss Venessa - for scoring highest in the 2nd PUC, were honored.

At the same time children from 10th were honored with medals for getting good results in the diocesan catechism exams. After the programme all were given breakfast, sponsored by the parents of First Holy Communicants.
